Historic Preservation: Bowers Mansion

Washoe Valley, Nevada
Reyman Bros. was awarded the contract to restore the exterior of this historic mansion that dates from the Comstock era. Built in 1863 by Lemuel "Sandy" Bowers and his wife, Eilley, it is the finest example of elegant homes built in Nevada by the new millionaires of the Comstock mining boom.
