Camp Wasiu II is a summer camp near Sierra City, CA operated by the Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada. The 45-acre camp is surrounded by lakes, woods, waterfalls, and the majestic Sierra Buttes. In summer, Camp Wasiu II bustles with the happy sounds of girls in grades 1-12 who play, learn, eat, and sleep among the camp's platform tents, dining hall, kitchen, camp office, health hut, "biffies" (bathrooms in the forest), and swimming pool. When an unusually heavy winter snowfall caved in the roof of the camp's dining hall, Reyman Bros. restoration team was tapped to repair the roof and supporting walls and replace the tongue-and-groove wood flooring, electrical, plumbing, and restrooms of the facility.
